Installation of the test gun
Open the packaging box, take out the two sections of the test gun, hold the copper head end with your hand, and screw them together section by section in sequence. Be careful not to twist the compensating wire to avoid breaking the weld. After tightening, there should be no shaking sensation.
Carefully insert the signal socket inside the screwed test gun barrel into the signal plug in the instrument gun socket. Make sure to insert it all the way in; otherwise, poor contact may occur. Turn on the power switch of the instrument, and the instrument will display “-1”. After plugging in the thermocouple, the instrument will display the ambient temperature (for instruments with division B, it will display 0). It indicates that the instrument and the test gun have made good contact. At this point, tighten the stop head screw and keep it ready for use.
