Finned belt heaters are highly efficient and reliable heat sources used in hundreds of industrial and commercial applications. They are used for forced (installed in pipes) and natural convection air heating (installed at the bottom of a cabinet oven). The basic design of the finned strip heater consists of spirally wound resistance coils placed in a specially designed ceramic insulator.
