KX Thermocouple Wire

K thermocouple wire, when heated, utilises the Seebeck effect to produce a variable mV difference between the two dissimilar conductors (Nickle/Chrome and Nickle/Aluminium). This mV difference can then be used by temperature control and recording equipment to accurately control and record the temperature of the work piece being heat treated.

To obtain the most accurate temperature reading the thermocouple wire should be directly attached to the workpiece being heat treated using one of thermocouple attachment units
