Iron-copper nickel thermocouple (J type thermocouple), also known as iron-Constantan thermocouple, is also a cheap cheap metal thermocouple. Its positive electrode (JP) in the name of the chemical composition of pure iron, copper and nickel alloy anode (Jacqueline Nottingham), are often vaguely call constantan, its nominal chemical composition of: 55% copper and 45% nickel as well as small amounts of very important manganese, cobalt, iron and other elements, although it’s called constantan, but different from that of nickel and chromium – constantan and copper-constantan constantan, so can’t use EN and TN to replace. Iron-constantan thermocouples cover the temperature range of -200~1200℃, but the temperature range is usually 0~750℃ .
WRN-430 Industrial Thermocouple has the advantages of good linearity, large thermoelectric emf, high sensitivity, good stability and uniformity, and low price, etc., which are widely used by users.
Rakendus
J type thermocouple can be used in vacuum, oxidation, reduction and inert atmosphere, but the positive iron oxidation at high temperature faster, so the use temperature is limited, can not be directly unprotected in high temperature vulcanization atmosphere.
