70℃ fire damper: Mainly installed on the supply and return air ducts of ventilation and air conditioning systems. Under normal circumstances, the valve is in the open state to ensure the normal operation of the ventilation and air conditioning system. When a fire breaks out, once the temperature of the gas in the pipeline reaches the critical value of 70℃, the fusible plate on the valve melts rapidly, and the valve closes automatically by the force of the torsion spring.
When the temperature of the flue gas in the exhaust duct rises to 280℃, the fuse device inside the valve is activated, the valve automatically closes, and at the same time, the interlocking control of the exhaust fan stops. This design takes into account that when the temperature reaches 280℃, the flue gas is highly likely to carry open flames. If the valve is not closed in time, it is very likely to cause a large-scale spread of the fire, further expanding the fire losses.
