The solid-state relay generates a considerable amount of heat. When the input current of the load exceeds 10A, a heat sink must be used in conjunction with it. Apply thermal conductive silicone grease between the base plate of the solid-state relay and the heat sink. For currents above 60A, add a fan for forced cooling.
