The function of the thermocouple for QuadraFire is to sense the temperature in the fire canister; if the thermocouple is broken,no voltage will be generated. If your furnace stalls after the initial start cycle, the thermocouple will most likely need to be inspected/replaced.
Make sure the power is disconnected. 812-0210 thermocouple must be wired correctly, and at the thermocouple connection, the wires must be connected to the ports corresponding to the red and yellow wires.
